AndroiHD is a very elegant, high definition HTC style lockscreen which converts your default iPhone lockscreen or homescreen into a fully blown replica of an HTC running Android. This high definition WinterBoard theme brings crisp graphics, optimised code and fantastic simplicity.
Update: You can now download the AndroiHD widget only (homescreen and/or lockscreen) and use your own backgrounds/sliders!
AndroiHD Information:
An HTC style lockscreen/homescreen which displays the time and weather in the location of your choice on the appropriate screen. These themes have only been tested on iOS 4.1, on an iPhone 4. Please follow the installation guide below exactly otherwise when receiving a call you’ll have a naff looking screen! Specifically regarding the Wallpaper steps – this is due to iOS limitations of bottombarbkgndlock.png, I was forced to use the Wallpaper to create a background for the slider. Having contact backgrounds will also make the slider look naff when receiving a call – sorry, limitations are limitations I’m afraid.
Let me know of any bugs, problems, etc.. I have intentions to make more themes due to the interest I’ve had with this one, though I won’t be adding them to repos for now.
NOTE: I did NOT make the weather icons. The rest is all made by myself and all I ask is that you respect that. That’s all, enjoy!
Installation *IMPORTANT*:
- Download the appropriate homescreen/lockscreen .zip (below) and unzip. You can use both at the same time.
- Open and edit AndroiHD.js in Notepad or any code editor to set your location for weather etc. (see Yahoo Weather below)
- Upload to /private/var/stash/Themes.[XXXXXX]/
- Enable the theme(s) via Winterboard
- If you’re using a Widget Only Version, stop here! You’re done!
- *Important* Download the wallpaper (below)
- *Important* Sync wallpaper to phone and set as wallpaper for lockscreen/both. This will be used when you receive a call, etc.
- For AndroiHD Homescreen you need Gridlock and may want Five Column SB.
